Social Studies Adoption Committee seeks applicants

The 4th & 5th Grade Social Studies Adoption Committee of St. Vrain Valley Schools is seeking applicants for volunteer committee membership for the 2012-2013 school year. The committee is responsible for evaluating instructional materials, participating in publisher presentations, and selecting a pilot curriculum for the 2013-2014 school year.
Committee members must be 21 years of age, reside in the St. Vrain Valley School District, and commit to attending meetings throughout the 2012-2013 school year. Most meetings take place after the regular school day.
All applications and references must be received by Thursday, October 18, 2012. A review of candidates will be conducted and all applicants will be notified of their application status.
