Public invited to community meeting to discuss new PK-8 in Longmont

From 6 to 7:30 pm on Monday, September 24, at Heritage Middle School, 233 S. Mountain View Ave., Longmont, St. Vrain Valley Schools will hold a community meeting to provide information about the new PK-8 school scheduled to open in the fall of 2013. Construction for the new PK-8 is ongoing and involves the joining of both Heritage Middle and Loma Linda Elementary facilities.
Parents and residents will have the opportunity to learn about the K-8 philosophy, view design plans, discuss the school focus, take part in the naming of the school, mascot and colors and give feedback regarding boundaries.
