The District's vision is to be an exemplary school district which inspires and promotes high standards of learning and student well being in partnership with parents, guardians, and the community.
Accreditation
The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) audits the District for compliance with the statutory accreditation indicators on an annual basis.
In the 2005-2006 St. Vrain Valley Accreditation Report, an annual review published by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE), the St. Vrain Valley School District was recognized for increases in academic achievement in Mathematics. The review states:

“Not only has the district seen strong growth in math performance, but all subgroups have made strides in increased student achievement.”
The review also recognized the rising number of high school students taking Advanced Placement (AP) courses and design improvements in the District’s report card format for elementary schools.
