The District's mission is to educate students in a safe learning environment so that they may develop to their highest potential and become contributing citizens.

Superintendent of Schools

Responsible for overseeing the global perspective of the District is the Office of the Superintendent. With a priority focus on student learning, well-being, and building partnerships, the office supervises all of the schools and programs, all District departments, and over three thousand employees. Additionally, the office carries out Board of Education directives, implements and enforces Board Policies, and is the final administrative appeal for conflict resolution.
