Student Services - Special Education Programming
St. Vrain Valley School District provides educational services for students identified as having mild to profound disabilities in the areas of learning, speech/language, emotional, vision, hearing, intellectual, physical, and preschool disabled. It is the District’s philosophy that students with disabilities should be educated with their peers in their neighborhood school unless their needs are better addressed through a more specialized educational environment.
A continuum of services are offered ranging from consultation with regular education teachers to varying amounts of direct services depending on the needs of students with disabilities. For students who have needs beyond what our school buildings offer, the following services are provided:
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Hearing Disabilities
- Intensive Interventions in Reading, Math, and Written Language
- Life Skills ACE (18-21 yrs)
- Lincoln School (Day Treatment)
- Significant Support Needs
For additional information or questions on the District's programs, contact the Executive Director of Student Services at (303) 772-7700.
