The operation of the Purchasing Department is governed by Board of Education policies and local, state, and federal laws. The Department's responsibilities include providing the District with policies that foster an ethical, responsive, and efficient environment and honoring obligations to internal customers and suppliers.

St. Vrain Valley School District RE-1J now posts all formal solicitations on the Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System site (BidNet). The Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing System is a regional bidding system that services numerous agencies throughout the State of Colorado. Other school districts, municipalities and counties in Colorado are also using this system. All solicitation documents, addenda, plan-holder lists and solicitation results are posted on this website. Vendors are requested to obtain all bid information from this site (see below).

Vendors can now visit this one site to have instant access to bid opportunities for St. Vrain Valley School District RE-1J and throughout the state. Vendors must register with BidNet to be able to access and download solicitation documents. There is no fee to register; however, vendors have the option to sign up for e-mail or fax notifications for a fee. BidNet will then notify your company of all bid opportunities that are applicable for your company.
