Committees

The District has several committees that were formulated to provide valuable assistance and guidance to the Board of Education, the Superintendent, and District departments. These committees offer District residents a hands on opportunity to become directly involved in the decision making process that helps to determine how the District operates and the direction it is headed.

The following committees meet on a regular basis. Information regarding meeting times, meeting dates, and a point of contact are listed for each committee. Some committees currently have openings that are available to the public. Links are provided for those that are interested in learning more about the committees and for those interested in applying to become a member.

School-Business Partnership Committee
•Meeting Location: The team members have been asked to volunteer individually with Boulder County Workforce – Youth Council, and the City of Longmont Recreation Division to work on the 2009 Youth Job & Career Fair.  The team has not yet reconvened for the 2008-09 school year.  The District has indicated that it may be November or December before staff resources are available to help with this Team.
